Soda ash dense, also known as sodium carbonate dense, is a high-density form of the chemical compound sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃). It is a white, granular, alkaline material, similar to its lighter counterpart, but with a higher bulk density. This denser form is often preferred in applications where physical characteristics like particle size or dissolution rate are less critical, and it’s commonly used in glass manufacturing, water treatment, and various chemical processes.
If your pH or Total Alkalinity levels are off in your pool's water chemistry, our pH up is a quick, safe, and effective way to correct both. Made of 100% sodium carbonate, this is the easiest way to balance your chemicals and make your pool a safer, cleaner environment.
Warning: Do not add more than 1 kg of pH up per 10,000 gallons of water at a time as it may cause the pool to cloud ("milky" consistency). Also, if your alkalinity is over 120 ppm, the addition of soda ash may also cause your water to cloud.
